Brand Guidelines
Platform has been a manufacturer of retail displays since the 1980’s. Their mission is potential: developing unique solutions and elevating their customers’ products to build lasting relationships.
My team and I were tasked with renaming the company (Formerly Pacific Custom Products) and developing an archetype and brand story for them. My role was to assist from the ground up: hone in on story and then design a fully realized brand identity, logo, and website, along with new signage, environmental branding, marketing materials, and branded swag. We drew inspiration from simple design and organizational principles of interior spaces paired with natural colors to find the right balance between minimalism and humanity.
I managed vendor and contractor relationships, art directing and planning a photoshoot to capture Platform’s day to day activities, and worked closely with the company to train a brand champion, equipping them with a comprehensive visual standards guide and giving them the tools to confidently run with Platform’s continued brand expression internally.
